Scripture: John 20:19-31
The disciple Thomas misses a resurrection appearance of Jesus, and can’t quite believe the news. Is Thomas’s yearning to touch and know Jesus a failure of faith? Or could he be a model of drawing near enough to others to touch the places that have been pained or wounded, and being willing to be transformed by the truth of their stories?
