Scripture: Matthew 22:34-46
In the wake of the recent shooting in Maine, we struggle with how to remember what is core to our experience and our purpose, so we return to Jesus’s Greatest Commandment(s). As we seek to more fully love God and love our neighbor as ourselves, how are we also being challenged to love a God much bigger than we had imagined? We rejoice in a God so big as to be able to hold the depths of our pain, and to draw us to the promise of new hope.
