Scripture: Exodus 17:1-7
Moses and the people of Israel find water when they are thirsty… yes, even from a rock in the wilderness. As we baptize one of our newest members, we are meant to wonder… is it the rock that was special, or is it in the blessing of community in which we meet God and find waters of life when we most need them? We’re also visited by Nanna’s House, inviting us to surround children in times of deepest need with the care and comfort that can lead them to trust those same living waters will flow through their lives and will be with them as they grow.
