Scripture: Jonah 3:10-4:11
The prophet Jonah is oddly successful in calling the people of Nineveh to repent, but ends up resentful of the mercy of God. It turns out, grace is much like gifts of the earth: they aren’t of much benefit if you try to store them away or seclude them for your own purposes.
