Scripture: Mark 10:35-45
There are a lot of temptations to how we think about leadership in our lives and in the world: it is a trait some are born with? A position? A skill or special knowledge we learn? When two disciples argue over being leaders in the movement around Jesus, he shows them that leadership in God’s reign of peace will be about relationship and servant hood. We give thanks for all those here who give of their very lives for the ministry of our congregation.
