Scripture: Genesis 21:8-21
In Genesis, we are told a complicated story of the sons of Abraham. As Ishmael and his mother, Hagar, are cast out, God hears their pleas. What wholeness is waiting for us as we begin to imagine the prayer lives of people outside our own tradition, and that God hears the deep needs and cries of all the world, not just our own people?
