Sunday School

The Sunday School program at FCC strives to offer a welcoming and engaging experience to children each week, focusing on the development of their knowledge of Biblical stories, themes, and of God’s love. Our Sunday School focuses on providing age-appropriate lessons to children and offers many different ways of experiencing the stories from the Bible.

Children aged 4 through 5th grade are welcome to attend Sunday School each week. After a Children’s Moment during the service, children are dismissed to head downstairs where they practice music before splitting into their classes. Both groups follow the Whirl Classroom curricula. For more information, visit wearesparkhouse.org. This multi-modal and engaging program provides many ways for children to learn vital Bible stories while thinking about how to incorporate God into their everyday lives.

Confirmation
Confirmation is open to students in their Freshman and Sophomore years of high school. It is usually offered every other year, or as needed.

Adult Education
Book studies and bible studies are offered during the year. Members and friends also attend various workshops offered by the Maine Conference. Keep an eye on the calendar for these events!

Youth Group
Youth Group meets twice per month. Middle Schoolers and their friends are invited to join Youth Group for service, fellowship and fun. Projects might include apple picking for the Falmouth Food Pantry, serving a meal at the Preble Street Mission in Portland or Christmas caroling at an assisted living facility.
