We are most blessed to have a vibrant Ministry of Music program at Foreside Community Church. We have many talented people within our congregation that offer their gifts to the music program.
The Chancel Choir sings 3 to 4 Sundays each month, September through mid-June. Their repertoire includes traditional, spiritual, and gospel anthems. They also offer either a Christmas or Lenten Cantata each year. They have sung "Seven Last Words of Christ" by Dubois, "Requiem" by Faure and "Ceremony of Carols" by Britten. The Choir also offers up a Cabaret/Broadway show every year with some very amazing talent!
The Towne Lyne Ringers is the hand bell choir of the church. They have been ringing for over 15 years and have advanced to become a very proficient group. They have performed at State and New England Festivals. They usually ring on the third Sunday of every month.
The Hilltop Ringers are on a small hiatus at this time. This group is composed of early ringers who have just begun or in the early stages of ringing. They have also performed at State Festivals and ring periodically through the year.
The Sunday school children sing every week after leaving after the Children's Moment right before Sunday school begins. They also put on an annual Christmas Pageant every year.
The Colorful Clangors are our beginning ringers in the lower grades of Sunday school. They meet every Sunday after worship for a time to rehearse. They play colored "smaller" bells. They play in church several times during the year as well.
We are also blessed to have several guest instrumentalists and vocalists perform throughout the year.
